MFT Release Replay...

Hello!  I have a card today, for the MFT Release Replay.  The January MFT Release went live last week and is available to shop.  The Design Team is getting together today to share some more cards using this months new products!

MFT Release Replay

I created this CAS card using the new sentiment set called 100% Loveable.  I absolutely adore this handwritten font.  I inked it up with an ombre blend of Bubblegum and Red Hot inks.  Then I did a little embossing with a stitched heart.  I added strips of Gold Sparkle cardstock along the bottom and a strip of red paper from Tiny Hearts Brights paper pack to finish it off.

The rest of the team will have more to share so stop in over to the MFT Blog to check it out!  Thanks for coming by!

All the hearts...

Hello there!  It's Laurie Willison here with a couple of clean and simple Valentines cards.  If you follow my blog, you know I love white space!  I love to add simple details that make a pop.  I decided to make this first card nice and simple by using the die cuts from the Hearts Foam Front Die.

Queen and Company

I attached 2 of them to the card front, then peeled off the backing and added glitter to each of the hearts.  Last, I stamped the sentiment.  Clean and simple!

For this next card, I scored a piece of cardstock and then did a little ink blending.  I cut it down to 4x4.  I popped it up on a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" white card base...

Last, I used the Heart Throb Kit to create this heart shaker box.  I love that stitched heart outline for die cut for the box!  Last, I added in the love die, also from the kit, to the top of the shaker box.  I added a coat of Nuvo clear glitter drops to the sentiment die for a little sparkle.

That is it from me today.  Hope you have enjoyed my cards.  So glad you stopped in!

MFT Product Launch...

It's release day at MFT!  They have the cutest new set of stamps called Monster Sized and I had to create one last card using them.

MFT Product Launch

To create this card, I did a little stenciling in the background with the new Full of Heart Stencil.  I used Picked Raspberry Oxide ink and blended it for a light background.  Next, I die cut a Rectangle Stitched STAX die to pop up the sentiment and main image.  I tucked a piece of pink ribbon under the panel after stamping the sentiment.  A fun foam panel gives it a little dimension.  Last, I stamped, die cut and colored that adorable little monster.  He is popped up on foam tape to stand off the card front.

That is it for me today!  Head on over and do some shopping at MFT.  Let me know what's on your wish list....or what already went in your cart.  Happy shopping!

MFT January Countdown Day 1...

I have one last card to share for the MFT January Release countdown.  All the new stamps, dies and paper you have seen this week will all be available Today, January 9th at 8pm CST.  I will be back at that time too with one more card to share!

Today's card was so fun to make! I used the new Stitched Heart Peek-a-boo die to create and Valentine Wishes stamp set this card.

MFT January 2018 Release

First, I cut a piece of white cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I used washi tape and attached the die to the cardstock and out 8 hearts out of the cardstock.  I lined the card base with the new Black and White Striped pattern paper and then popped up the heart die cut panel on foam tape.

Next, I die cut 2 banners, one in vellum and one in Ripe Raspberry cardstock.  I heat embossed the sentiment from the Valentine Wishes on the pink banner. I offset them on the card front and then added a little red heart for another pop of color.
