Color and a Blog Hop winner...

I thought I would stop in with another card right quick.  I also have the winner for this week's Simon Says Release hop.  Just scroll down to the bottom to see if you are the lucky winner!

Today's card is a simple 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card.  I used some of the pattern paper in the kit to make the frames.  I stamped the sentiment on the card base and added some of the alphabet stickers as well.

To make the popped up frame insert, I cut the card front and then centered 2 nesties on top.  I taped them down with some washi and then ran them through the Big Shot...

I attached the inside frame with foam tape for some dimension....

You fill my day...

I have another card today using the March Simon Says Stamp Card Kit.  I adore the little rainbow stencil that comes in the kit.  I used some Simon Says inks to color it up....

The could from the Heart Rainfall die was perfect to add under the rainbow.  Then I added in the sentiment in Versafine and the little sequins that come in the kit.  I sewed the card front on to the card base with some messy stitched lines....which was hard for me in my symmetrical, CAS brain....but I did it.  ha!

I am getting ready to head outside for a little.  It snowed again.  What's new right?  How is the weather where you are?  I hope you are warm!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday!

Scroll down for my Ink Organizer Giveaway!

Have you seen the new Spring Release over at Simon Says?  Click HERE to check it out.  I have another card using one of the new sets called Hourglass....

I stamped the pennants in the new Simon Ink....Lipstick Red, Orange Peel, Sunshine, Green Apple, Island Blue and Blue Violet.  I don't know about you but I love the bright colors and the solid coverage.

I added in the new Happy Birthday die and then colored it in with my Gelly Roll Clear Star glitter pin.  This is one of those crafty tools that I have had for YEARS.  It's an awesome glittery pin for sure.

So that is it for today.  Hope you are having a great week so far!  I am headed to work today....but would much rather be crafting.  I have some amazingly fun stuff coming up so stay tuned.  ;)

An Ink Storage Giveaway...

So I love to organize.  So much so that I wonder if it's stamping or organizing I love more.  (I think I have shared that once or 4 times before) Haha! I got this Pro Ink Organizer last year and because I like ink so much...I decided my Pro needed a friend....

I found this 48 Ink Pad Organizer and knew it would be perfect to add to my wall.  I really love these shelves.  The outside shelf is made out of wood.  The inside is made out of a sturdy plastic material, which is so nice, because the shelf isn't heavy to hang on the wall.  I really feel like it is super sturdy but still light enough that we can all afford shipping costs.  lol!  (Mike says his shipping is going down too, by the way!) :)

I made ink swatches for both my Hero Arts Inks and a swatch set for my Simon Says Inks.  I took a push pin and added them to the side of the organizer so they are easy to grab when I need to find the right ink....

oh snap...

I totally love camera images and camera sentiments.  So when I saw these Paper Smooches cameras...they had to come live with me.   I made a card today using this week's new Retro Sketch.  And its a fun change up today....because the sketch is of a tag.  You can see the original tag, by Wanda,  HERE.  It's gorgeous!

Here is my tag...card...tag card.... :)

I cut the camera out with several different colors and then popped it up on a Echo Park Silhouette tag.  I added in a sentient and then scored the card base for a little extra detail.  I added some dark brown twine too, to finish it all off.

Here is the sketch....

Stop by the Retro Sketches blog and see what the DT girls have made up with this gorgeous tag sketch.  AND play along too!  Link up your own tag or card or tag card while you are there.  :)

So glad you could come by today!  Have a great day!
